Every flow has individual settings for you to adapt, e.g. the Heyflow title, meta language, preview image when sharing your flow and much more.
This article covers the following settings:
General
Under General you can update the heyflow title, which visible both for you and your heyflow visitors.
β It is not possible to change the heyflow ID since it is a unique identifier.
Also, you can upload your favicon, which the image displayed in the browser tab. In addition, you can individually select the meta language for your flow to assist search engines and browsers and extensions (e.g. Google Translate).
Danger Zone
In the danger zone of your flow's settings, you can deactivate the flow. It will then not receive any more responses. You can also completely delete the flow and all its responses, integrations and domains connected. This action cannot be undone.

π‘ Tip: If a flow is deactivated, it doesn't count to your flow quota. So think twice if you want to delete a flow!
Also, you can activate our Auto-Deletion feature for responses, so they will be deleted automatically after 6 months. Find more information on our data privacy feature here.
Share
Preview
Under Share, you'll find the option to upload a preview image. The image should be at least 640Γ320px (1280Γ640px for best display). You can also insert the preview title and description, which would be shown whenever you share the flow, e.g. in Facebook.
QR Code
You can even generate a QR code, choosing between your individual domains and the heyflow URL.
User behavior
There are multiple options to select when it comes to the user behavior and how the flow acts in different scenarios, e.g. a reload of the flow.
Force start on 1st screen
Force the user to start at the first screen.
βRestore data
Restore the user's data on a returning visit using the same device and same browser.
βReset on back navigation
Reset the user's inputs on the screen they are leaving when navigating back.
βSingle submit
Prohibit the user from submitting their response more than once. Further clicks on submit buttons will be ignored.
Tracking
By default, we'll automatically pass URL parameters to your heyflow. You can change between all URL and all UTM parameters.
Also, we push the DataLayer to the parent window if your flow is embedded. In this case, you can also disable our default Google Tag Manager container. This is recommended if you don't track the events in the heyflow but in the parent window.

Uploads
When using our upload block, you'll receive all files via a link in the response. By clicking on this link, the uploaded file will be downloaded automatically. However, you must be logged in to Heyflow to do this.
If you want to share the answers with people who do not have access to your Heyflow account, you can enable Link access in the settings, so that it is not necessary to be logged in for the download.
Backups
Backups provide a safety net, allowing you to revert to a stable version in case of mistakes or if you find that an older version of your flow performs better.
Made a mistake during editing? No problem. Prefer an older version that converted better? You have the flexibility to jump back to a stable version easily. This ensures that your live flow is always in sync with the version you desire.
