Edit options

We support most player attributes such as hiding player controls, looping your video or adding closed captions. You’ll also have the following options:

General

  • Hide player controls: Hide the controls of the player, such as the play button.

  • Privacy-enhanced mode: When enabled, YouTube won’t store information about visitors on your website unless they play the video.

  • Loop video: Let the video start over, once it's finished.

  • Display closed captions: Enable, if you want to display subtitles of the video.

  • Disable keyboard control: If this option is activated, users cannot use their keyboards to fast-forward the video, for example.

  • Inline playback on iOS: By default, videos are played in full screen on iOS. Enable this option to play the video inline.

  • Start at second: Skip to the important parts by defining when the video should start.

  • Ratio: Choose the ratio of the video. By default, this will be 16:9, but you can adjust as needed.

Spacing

  • Width: You can use this to adjust the maximum spread of the block and choose between S, M, L and maximum width.

  • Top, Bottom, Left and Right: You can use these options to set the distance to all sides. To do this, either use the slider or specify the exact number of pixels.

Appearance

  • Visibility: Here you can select whether the block is only displayed in the mobile or desktop version or whether it is hidden completely.

  • Background color: You can select a color to be used as the background for the block.
