Integrate LeadByte to easily send information from your heyflow to LeadByte and track incoming responses as leads. Capture, validate and distribute leads in real-time.
Important to note
❗ All data that you want to map needs to have a System Label set (alternatively, the field needs to be set as a variable).
Initial Setup
Within your heyflow, go to “Integrate” and then to the tab “Response Handlers”
Go to LeadByte and click on “Add account”. A pop-up window will appear and ask you to provide a name, API URL and API key.
Give your integration a name. This helps you to identify the account if you use multiple accounts.
Add the API URL to the integration. This is the full URL of your LeadByte domain, e.g.
https://account.leadbyte.co.uk/
.
Insert the API key from your LeadByte account and click on Add account.
Where to find your credentials in LeadByte
Follow the instructions below, to get all necessary information for the integration.
Login to your LeadByte account.
Go to the Tech Hub under the Admin tab.
Under Rest API, you can create a new API key.
Make sure to set the Key type to Administrator and select at least the permissions of
Leads: Create and update
Campaigns: Read
As soon as the API key is created, you can use it for the integration in Heyflow.
Handle responses as Leads
In the LeadByte integration tab, first select the campaign you want your leads to be associated with.
Choose a Heyflow field and then select its corresponding LeadByte counterpart
Repeat this process for all relevant fields and click on “Save changes” afterward
And that’s it, you will now receive your responses within LeadByte as Leads!
💡 You can only forward individual file uploads, as each upload generates a single link. If you need to collect multiple files, you can add multiple Upload blocks to your flow. Learn more about Uploads here.
URL Parameter Tracking
If you want to pass URL/UTM parameters from your flow to LeadByte, you need to set up a hidden input field to capture the data. Once set up, you can map these input fields to corresponding fields in your response handler of choice.
The UTM parameters will then be automatically passed along with each response—without your visitors noticing. 🚀
